Max Andersson
Author of comic books, of feature and animated films, Max Andersson is one of the most famous names in the Scandinavian comics scene.
He has been published regularly since the end of the eighties in numerous publishing houses on both sides of the Atlantic, such as Fantagraphics (USA), L’Association (France), and many other European publishers. He is mostly known as the co-author (with Lars Sjunnessonom) of the comic album Bosnian Flat Dog, a pseudo-autobiographical story, surreal and full of black humor, which tells the adventures of the two authors in the former Yugoslavia at the end of the last century. For years the American publishing house Fantagraphics published his own comic series, Pixy, which achieved wide popularity.
He lives and works in Berlin, where he is about to finish the movie Tito On Ice, a hybrid of documentary, animated and feature film.
