Katie Woznicki

Katie Woznicki is a comic artist/illustrator/musician/linguist/English teacher from Cleveland, Ohio who lives in Belgrade, Serbia.

After attending collective comics workshops organised or improvised mainly by Wostok or Studiostrip, she got hooked on drawing cartoons and doesn’t leave her notebook. In two years she became one of the most active authors in Belgrade.

Her comics include Lakrdijasi, a monthly, one page strip that depicts a group of monsters who are roommates who lead lives that are somehow mundane and ridiculous at the same time. Other projects include her American Dreams coloring book, featuring rabbits and everything that’s wrong with America, and a love story soon to be published in the “Hate/Love” book edited by Komikaze for Crack! festival in Rome, among others.
